Hello everyone! Welcome to Golden Oldies! Sometimes called "GO." My name is Jo also known as BeaHappy. I would like to tell you about our newsgroup and what we represent.

First I should say, we're a diverse group of people ranging in ages from our late forties through infinity. :-) We discuss a wide range of topics, including our children, grandchildren, current events, our likes and dislikes, and in general, whatever we happen to have on our mind at any particular time. Just as one would in a large family.

Golden Oldies was created in late November of 1998 by myself, and Jan also known as Jandon for the purpose of light-hearted fun and discussion with respect for all! Fortunately we've experienced all of these things and we have some of the most wonderful people on the web posting in our group. So please come in and join us! We would love to have you become a part of our fantastic group!! Someone is always here and our door is always open!

I would also like to thank our Home-page designer, Clarence, also known as Poptops, for taking the time to create our new pages! Thanks a million Poptops, you did a wonderful job!!
